The script grabs the captured audio element, mutes it, sets playbackRate to 16 (the browser maximum), seeks to the beginning, and calls .play(). The browser, in its infinite eagerness to keep the buffer full ahead of the playback position, frantically fetches, decrypts, and feeds chunks into the SourceBuffer.
